You aren't a drag on a working system (medical, economic, whatever). Don't blame yourself, it's all geared for profit and not to help the most people possible.

I mean, maybe? There's already generic version of my meds available and they're about $4,500 a month without insurance, as opposed to $18.5k for the name brand. I'm not sure how much I'd save having them made in a situation like that.
I’m in a very similar position. Major preexisting condition which requires expensive care for the rest of my life, 10 years max of productivity left in me. No country would have me, and all I want to do is flee. Unless a miracle happens next week, but I’m honestly quite pessimistic.
