Disagree...we Dutch have a tradition called Huttenbouw, we use pallets and such and build fortresses, castles and bases. After finishing building we overnight in sleeping bags. It is a part of summer vacation, childhood.
And the volunteers like it even more, quite often we do a bonfire after with a lot of wood that is not usable anymore
Sure thing moonburster, the bonfire was the perfect closure. Such fond memories of these summers. Kids, piece of wood...and pyromania.
