If I pay to remove ads now, is the lifetime ultra cost discounted?

Why are there even ads in the first place? No other app has them
- Because @ljdawson is working on it full time and dude's gotta eat
- I think the dev pays for Imgur and other media hosting site APIs so that is also a factor. No other app displays media as integrated as Sync.
  
  I just tried uploading a picture and it was uploaded to my home instance for sharing. I do not see where imgur comes in the equation.
