Always cute how americans always bring this excuse whenever they lose. At the same time you always act like the winners of your national competitions are world champions. If you want to actual be world champion of something send your top athletes to international competitions instead of always losing and then acting like you didnt want to win in the first place lol
Or the NCAA, last years Michigan team or the previous two UGA teams would likely smoke any International team
