Who or what is 2B? Isn't that a type of pencil?

The game has very complex lore and it's super interesting. For instance 2B and 9S have to follow many rules from the Commander. To learn more search for "2B rule34".
Stands for Battle and Scout I believe.
The female android is 2B. The other isn't 2B. They work together in a 2-person unit called 2B and not-2B.
