Okay, just so I'm completely clear on this, are they a) claiming that CRISPR is some kind of danger to the world, or b) debunking such claims about it?
Sometimes in this world, we'll see things that just aren't for us. You had no interest in the video and that's absolutely okay. The best practice would've been just to scroll on by.

I take it from your non-answer that it's exactly what I suspected.
For the record, CRISPR is an amazing technology that is producing potential gene therapies for otherwise-untreatable illnesses. Just yesterday, Nature published an article detailing a promising treatment for HIV.
And fear mongers would try to scare terminally ill people away from treatments like that.
So no, I will not just "scroll on by" when I see something that tries to make people mistrust the medical science that could save their lives.

The Why Files is one of the best YouTube channels out there. They talk about fringe and conspiracy subjects but debunk them. You didn’t even watch the video and you are just making a BUNCH of assumptions that have nothing to do with it.
I asked for a description of the video and its content, and the OP refused to actually answer.
I'll watch the video if you'll confirm it's not an attempt to attack CRISPR technology.
It’s not. It’s about the real implications it might have, such as for eugenics and genetically enhanced soldiers. But it also does talk a lot about the real good it does and can do. But the main points are about those two topics. That like with every technology, the issue is the social and political structures around their use. And also how eugenics never really went away. In many ways it’s using CRISPR to start a conversation about eugenics tbh.
