Helldivers are absolutely victims of Super Earth's leadership. The tutorial shows just how little training they actually receive, then they're immediately frozen and shipped off to be used as disposable cannon fodder. Their missions are almost always accomplished by throwing Helldivers at the objective until the ones lucky enough to survive complete it, or they run out of bodies.
We have killed a lotta civilians and researchers though

Yeah but you didn't have to drop a minefield at the door before opening it at the start =P
Unrelated but about an hour ago I opened a door when the entire area was being ravaged by fire tornadoes. I'm not sure what I was expecting to happen but the dudes ran straight into the fire and died.
Shuttle still got 20 🤷
You know, I almost wrote "Is Super Earth the bad guy?" But then I was like, is it "Are Super Earth the bad guys?" Or do I say "Super Earth leadership...?" Then said fuck it and changed it to "Helldivers".
