While I didn't support the performance move anyway, this sends a message that homophobia is a big enough influence in their sport to dictate policy.
The fact that they're still doing everything else just draws attention to it being weak ass rainbow capitalism.
Here's the thing about rainbow capitalism, it shows that we are a large enough group that it's worth it to advertise to us.
Yeah I definitely prefer it to the alternative.
True. But that's still just support for our money, and not us.
It also has the benefit of aiding in the normalization of our existence to those that don't normally encounter us.
Of course some people are a lot more open to new ideas than others.
