Ian McKellan is Gandalf, and I will fight anyone to the death who disagrees.

While he did a decent job with Magneto, I would say that his Gandalf is far more recognized.
He has done quite a few iconic roles though
True, but I would argue that none are as widely recognized as Gandalf.
I just dont want to be murdered so tried to convey that I don't disagree just want to add that he has a great portfolio
I will stay my Hammer of Vengeance just this once.....and agree that he is a very accomplished and talented actor.....who just happens to be Gandalf, not Ian McKellan. ;)
