His involvement ended after Enterprise. From there, we've had JJ's stooge Alex Kurtzman. Kinda wish he'd drop out and inject Trek with some new blood. We'll see how Tawny Newsome does as a writer/producer for Academy.

I've no doubt in Tawny's abilities, but I do doubt she'll have enough power to prevent meddling.
No, he was hired as a producer for TNG, then became Executive Producer when Gene died. He left the franchise after Enterprise ended.
