Do you know what thee luddites were protesting? Be ause it wasn't technology. They were prootesting the fact that industrial looms were benefical to wealthy capitalists who made fortunes stealing the livelihoods of communities.
You can see by @blakenong@lemmings.world 's response why I didn't bother trying to explain the Luddite perspective myself.
