why would you write haikus to free

a person trapped in here?

Edit is my haiku so bad 😞 added "of"

  I'd let you know that haikus
  
  Are five-seven-five
  
  I thought i had it
  
  But now you say i do not
  
  This is deceptive
  
  That one works just fine.
  
  The other one was one off;
  
  It was six-eight-six.
- There’s an old saying
  About what to do in Rome…
  When you are in it
- Talk about stupid,
  
  You wrote a haiku that has
  
  Extra syllables.
  
  Stupid is too strong.
  
  I feel bad for using it,
  
  But it fits the scheme.
