Why did you cut off the part where he climbs up the tank and starts yelling at the tank driver?
Why is the clip zoomed in to not show that the tank is driving away from the square?
there are multiple versions of the clip and the associated lore floating around and if you don't spend enough time with what happened at the time you can easily be convinced of a variety of viewpoints
The cut off clip is meant to imply a lot of things which did not happen.
Occam's razor, you're on the Internet, bad crops are practically a meme. Personally, I distinctly remember watching the entire uncropped video multiple times throughout grade school and high school in the US
because its propaganda designed to make china look as bad as the us empire.
