But actually, as user experience goes, it still sucks just like android does, with its shitty filesystem, its apps that are closed upon themselves, its lack of communication at the system level (except through the hacky "share with" menu), etc. I'd rather have the actual Linux user space.

my phone has plenty of free ram, it still closes apps if I just switch to another one for 2 minutes. and its the dev mode memu that tells so!
I was more meaning screen size, ease of use of input methods, and how easily can you run whatever software you want, which is becoming ever harder even on FOSS ROMs thanks to google's influence
