You have a very good French grammar level, congrats. The sentences gives away an English phrasing, I can give you some examples of how we could have phrased it in French :
Tout Ă fait, ma rĂ©plique peut ĂȘtre interprĂ©tĂ©e comme telle, mais aussi autrement. Je me plais Ă rĂ©flĂ©chir Ă la beautĂ© de l'exĂ©cution plutĂŽt qu'Ă l'objet qu'elle reprĂ©sente. D'aucuns dirait qu'il s'agirait d'une forme de dĂ©lire ou d'Ă©vasion de l'esprit.

I just realized I misinterpreted your comment. You meant "it brings a tear to my eye, because of the beauty," didn't you?
2 0 ReplyFrench speaker here, that's indeed how I understand it.
3 0 ReplyYes, that's how I did intend it in the first place! You were the first to comment and dans ma langue maternelle, so I couldn't resist and replied with my réaction à chaud.
2 0 ReplyMan I should've planned ahead and actually been French for this đ€Ł
