Are the straights OK?
- according to suicide statistics they're better than non-straights
  
  But that's because of society not relationships
  
  doesn't really matter if you only ask whether someone's fine or not
  
  There can be unhealthy, weird "culture" around straight relationships and jokes about how your wife sucks is an example of it.
  
  Asking "are the straights ok" is to express that you notice an example of that, obviously not an actual question about how were doing.
- All I'll say is I've been married 24 years and this comic does not apply to me.
