Not quite, you have to do the spoiler formatting as shown in my comment:

You can copy this entirely if you’d like, no changes needed:

Trying the code again with the extra spaces, maybe it was my bad (though I did test it):

Spoilers are not standardized on Lemmy every client can choose to ignore it and there are different syntaxes in use. On eternity it's not a spoiler btw
