Passed away what?
You know how you can pass the potatoes, or pass gas, well he passed "away":-)
To who I don't know, it doesn't say..
Away was standing still, he just passed it.
I hope he used the designated passing lane.:-)
Like how in baseball a coach might tell a player to "swing away", in hockey they're often instructed to "pass away".
