It is optional until 24h2 releases at the end of September which it will be packaged with.

I think it is optional now, and after they observe it's stability for a while, they will move it into base update, but I'm not sure.
3 0 ReplyThe article isn't especially clear. I would guess it's the way you suggest, but maybe they're gunshy after the CrowdStrike debacle and want to keep plausible deniability.
