This was the moment when she did the heel turn away from all the clever, momentum building moves that assembled a surprisingly left-friendly coalition. Everything after this was punching left and she lost as a result.

I’m happy to hear that something new will happen. Hopefully we can break free of all the modern Trek from the last decade. I seriously hope this isn’t going to be yet another nostalgia play where they re-cast the original characters. Please, write something new and explore that amazing universe with new compelling characters, ships, planets and science fiction stories. It would be incredible if they advanced the timeframe to completely break away from the temptation to loop in existing characters or retcon stuff. The last thing we need is another cool and modern interpretation of the 60s aesthetic. Let’s move on and be creative.

I’m old enough to remember when Apple was the one with taste. They used to pride themselves on being the classy alternative to user-hostile competitors like Microsoft.

I don’t know if this happens, or if it doesn’t. There should be zero tolerance for even joking about this. The only thing that I will assert is this: If this happens, and some combination of: another branch of government, state governments, the public, law enforcement, the military, and the media, don’t immediately halt everything and throw his as in out, then the United States is over. I don’t mean ‘over’as a descriptor for decline. I mean it’s just immediately done. There is no nation, there are no laws and we have no constitution. The entire project ceases to exist immediately.
