This definition of "better" feels like claiming that a Beeper that's constantly hooked to power is the perfect alarm because it warns you every time someone is trying to break in - while entirely ignoring that it is just constantly blaring.

Positiv überrascht dass der Titel nicht in die Richtung von "Radfahrer nach mutmaßlich beabsichtigter Kollision mit Fahrzeug ums Leben gekommen" ging.
I was shortly in a project where the team and the customer meant the fucking Oracle DB when they were talking about "the backend".
There was Java Spring Boot (on some outdated, old old version), but all it did was pass args from a "REST" API (doing essentially RPCs with POSTs is REST, right?) to the DB.
The DB then had functions upon functions written in pl/sql that did the actual work.
I have no idea who the fuck thought that that was even remotely a good idea.
Anyways - I am happy to have moved on to better, more sensible projects :D

Vielleicht der echte Haken sind die Freunde wir machten entlang des Weges.
Loved the first season and the "rules" they established...
Why did they have to throw them away with the second season :/
Defenseless? Those Sidewinders come with 2 Pulses preinstalled! :P
It is the perfect gank boat
4× L and 2× M gives you loads of dps if you slap frags on. Plus the weight makes for a good ramming ship.
FDL is still king for Wing Fights, But for ganking and 1v1s thr Python 2 is a better option.
Griefings, CMDRs!
What a week this was. Many rebuys have been claimed. In fact, this week¹ has broken the record for most kills in a week, and by a long shot. This week¹, we had a total of 5.254 Kills.
I would like to congratulate every CMDR out there who has made this incredible feat possible.
I would also like to personally congratulate the following CMDRs, who have managed to get more than 500 Kills each this week¹.
- CMDR Cobalt Viper × 534
- CMDR A Face for Radio × 511
- CMDR Radec. × 503
- CMDR Ars145 × 502
In addition, I would like to congratulate CMDR Cobalt Viper for setting a new global weekly¹ record.
Some interesting figures
The Python Mk 2 was the most used ships for kills at 4.011 Logged kills, followed by the FDL at 710. The most killed ship was the Krait II with a total of 1391 Rebuys.
This week, Elite-Ranked CMDRs were both the ones killing and dying the most. Usually, Mostly Harmless CMDRs take #1 on the dying part. In fact, this Week has only had 95 Harmless kills!
The kills focused on ShinDez - that's where the CG took place. Out of the 5254 Kills 4339 took place in ShinDez, followed by the adjacent staging system V886 Centauri with 470.
You can have an updated view of our statistics over at https://gankers.org/elite/weekly/graphs?ts=2024-09-26T00:00:00Z
Again, thanks for reading and thank's for making this possible.

Escape From Kursk
I just got a Bambu A1 this Tuesday and have been printing non-stop during the workday.
Made some Planters, Box for the Hotends, Poop Chute... No issues so far.
And setup was pretty easy. No need to tinker around. It just works. WiFi Setup was a bit finicky (it wants 2.4GHz and the length of the SSID seems to be restricted?)
But yeah... friend of mine summarised it perfects:
if your hobby is printing, get a Bambu A1; if it's printers, get something like an Ender
