Workflowy and Teuxdeux are two web apps where I spend an embarrassingly large amount of my time online. I wish there were FOSS alternatives because I would happily contribute features and fixes to the issues I bump into in my daily usage.
Wait, really? I just spent several minutes repeatedly going back to the settings as I navigated the app, to restore my setup to the look and feel I had in sync for reddit 🤦
In the [Italian Competition] Authority's view, the commitments submitted by Google ensure significant automation of the procedure available for data export (Takeout). They also improve the interoperability mechanism that makes the data available in the Google ecosystem accessible to third-party platforms. Users and third-party operators will be able to make use of this mechanism until the release of a direct service-to-service portability solution, which, according to Google itself, will take place in the first quarter of 2024.
While more smarts in natural language understanding would be welcome, I don't feel like that's what the assistant is missing the most. The biggest advantage that google assistant has is the potential for tight integration with the system (Android). IMHO it would pay off to make it more capable in terms of interacting with existing apps, setting up flows of actions, etc., than necessarily making it be able to communicate more fluently.
Pois, olha, não sei... não estou a usar VPN mas claramente há aqui algo que não está a funcionar como é suposto. De qualquer forma é só mesmo por curiosidade — mesmo o Twitter eu já praticamente não usava, e só estou à espera de um cliente de Mastodon que tenha notificações decentes (btw, recomendações aceitam-se!)
Nice! É bom ter essa perspectiva de quem já anda por aqui há mais tempo e pode comparar maçãs com maçãs (lemmy.pt agora com lemmy.pt antes, em vez de lemmy.pt com r/portugal)
Eu pessoalmente venho cá primariamente como substituto do /r/portugal, e confesso que lá raramente postava, normalmente apenas lia, votava e ocasionalmente comentava. Por isso para mim o problema é o típico pescadinha-de-rabo-na-boca: a minha principal motivação é ficar a par das notícias e discussões da comunidade (e se calhar participar em algumas delas), e sem a comunidade a publicar cenas, também não participo tanto como poderia. Não tenho uma solução para isso além de se calhar convidar mais ativamente a malta do /r/portugal a vir cá ter... talvez sugerir a possibilidade de manterem o mesmo username do reddit, se não demorarem muito, pode ajudar? :P
