Hm, maybe I'm doing it wrong. If anyone locks eyes with me I just give them the ol' forward nod/half smile and keep walking. Of course, I live in a moderately sized city compared to like, New York or LA.

Ugh, I'm right there with you. And shower heads are always too low! I have to limbo every time I wash my hair and it's ANNOYING.
