I saw a thing about agencies still holding onto encrypted data they harvest.

They can't use it today, but as the cryptology arms race goes on, (and processors improve) it becomes much easier to brute-force decrypt.

So in 5-10 years, they might suddenly have a file on you.

Because it's a line a lot of his diehards won't cross.

Plenty of them will hear no evil or deny his other crimes, but the reason "protect our kids" works as such a great excuse for other overreach, is its such a priority for these people.

Barring possibly nothing.

How incredible would it be if Trump's name wasn't the one they were working so hard to hide.

What if it's some massive benefactor of theirs or some keystone lawmaker or figurehead they've held over us as a moral example.

You know, like Dr Phil.

I once went to set some IT stuff up at a large tabloid company's office.

Their security was nuts. Gates and badges and goons everywhere.

Because they're allowed to invade your privacy and bother you, but you are absolutely not allowed to return the favour.

Because if I die I'll miss the rest of the Kingkiller Chronicles.

A lot of these contests just a points game, but in this case if one particular side is able to dominate the narrative then they'll use it to actually hurt people.

So I get the game is stupid, but is a game where real people can get hurt.

There's a growing acceptance in the ADHD community that the name is no longer particularly relevant.

However a lot of very good anti-discrimination rules and laws mention it by name.

And so changing the name would have an immediate negative effect on the rights of those with the condition. So probably until we have some massive breakthrough about the thing we know as "ADHD", it's likely to keep the name.

I've been with them for a couple of years now. Unfortunately the devices just doubled in price but I'm very happy with them otherwise.
