Nice. They really need to fix the Windows PC browsing experience though, the auto filling new posts that pop up and push shit down is gonna really grind any new people's gears. It's almost unusable on a browser right now.
Just ran PowerDeleteSuite on my account RIGHT now. I initially hated lemmy, but got used to the PC ui, and now the apps are really good. Tired of the bootlickers left at the other place, like....how do you defend a shitty 'company' who doesn't give a shit about you? Crazy.
It's like all the awful people are left there stewing in their own juices, good riddance. I literally can not view that place anymore without Apollo so it's as good as gone. Will still browse the odd time on RES via the PC, or a search engine -reddit for something but casual browsing?............he gone!
End of the World running club. As someone the UK the concept of a massive apocalyptic event set in the uk was intriguing. I loved the book.
Also Sphere by Michael Crichton. In my own head canon, I seem to recall reading this in one sitting over a single night I was doing an all nighter. It was just super gripping!
Sadly Started Valley didn't get started, it got the 'meh' treatment (Even i was surprised!). I think it may of been the heart-fuckery and talking she wasn't too invested in, despite the game being amazing.
Oh yeah she loved StS. I think Monster Train might of been on the shit list, i'll double check. There were some other popular pokemans rip offs too that we looked into but they were also on the shit list. It's like trying to roll a max on d20 :P Thanks
Yep, Memmy was the best so far, but if this gets auto-read marking while scrolling and all functions [such as blocking communities] we have the Apollo-like champion already.
Memmy is king on iOS as a heavy Apollo user, the others feature slowness and bad text leading (vertical line spaces) and some other weird line breaks and behaviours. If Memmy can get the 'scroll past posts to mark as read' it will basically be apollo for me already which is great.
Still, it's fuckin awesome we have so much choice already. I thought this would be weeks/months where w we'd have a single app, let alone multiple to choose from.
I liked kbin initially, but Lemmy just has a few added familiar features and a little less chaos. Hopefully it'll get in line in the future with the basics.
Nice, hopefully this'll fix the auto refreshing new posts on PC! Thanks man ^^
