Surprisingly, Microsoft Authenticator works very well. On iOS it lets you back up your authentication tokens to iCloud and on Android I believe there is some way to do this too (I don’t have an Android phone so idk). I would avoid Google Authenticator because to the best of my knowledge there is no way to back up, and at some point in the past it crashed on me and I lost all my 2FA logins, which was a huge pain to recover from.
think of it like the N-word. You (assuming you're not black) can't say it. I can't say it. But there are those who can. Ice Cube explained it really well. He said, "It's OUR word. You don't get to use it."
yup. given the choice of COVID-contaminated boogers or a strand of hair, I'll take the hair any day of the week. but that's the problem isn't it? most people only get grossed out by things they can see. It's a total failure of science education.
I use 1password. I heard that Apple uses 1password internally. I figure their IT guys are more expert than me, a random internet dude. So I chose 1password. Works great on desktop, mobile, and even Linux. Family plan is a good deal. You can even share passwords between users for common things like bank accounts, etc, between family members.
I guess this is the hour when the witch king draws his swords together.
