I'm of the opinion that people making less than 50,000 a year should only be paying like 5% in taxes and FICA/SS. And anyone under 150,000 taxed at 10%. Because the people making above that can afford to pay the typical 20% or more, but less than 150k is not all that much these days.

And then the mega-rich need to be paying way more than they do. Not just income tax, but capital gains tax and tax on the total value of their assets above 5 million (don't @ me with this number, it's an example) or whatever.

It really warms my heart to see unions coming back strong.

Carbon offsets are often not even that much. Companies will pay other companies just not to bulldoze that forest or burn that oil.

But then the companies just do it anyway. So essentially, it's just shifting money to make no difference.

It's like the worst episode of Sesame Street ever.

It's only a first version. I'm sure with time, it'll get even better.

People are literally only asking for the same console, a few refinements, and with better performing internals.

The form factor is excellent, if a bit flimsy. But games like TOTK and whatever next 3D Mario game comes out deserve to have better graphical fidelity than what the current switch can put out. I stopped playing TOTK because I just kept getting framerate drops.

Please give the Switch 2 more powerful internals!

It's not just contrast though. It's weather effects, particle effects, details in textures on the roads, buildings, and other objects.

Camera effects are better, animations are more dynamic, lighting is way more contrasty, but tasteful. There's also much more detail in distant buildings, making the world feel much bigger than it is.

Rocksteady did a killer job with the Arkham games and the suicide squad game is just not even close.

And after a month, you realized that you Pavloved yourself into thinking your phone was ringing and hating the song when you heard it casually.

It's like using your favorite song as an alarm. Don't know how that doesn't ruin those songs for people.

I couldn't justify $14 a month for YT Premium especially when YT Music sucks so much. And it's very likely just going to get more expensive.

If they could stop bundling them both together and give me an option to just get rid of ads, I'd probably go back to paying. But for now, NewPipe is a way better experience.

I always thought the "no man can kill me" not including women was a dumb loophole.

Win + prnt scrn takes a screenshot of everything and saves it to a screenshots folder in pictures. Then it's pretty easy to crop it in the built-in photos app when you double click it.

I find it less confusing than the snipping tool.
