  • Oh yeah, definitely. The whole we want to have grandkids thing and so on.

  • No, it's not a family decision. I'm not your property, you don't own me that's my girlfriends's role :3.

A reminder that families are just people and that often the only things you have in common is DNA and blood. That's it. You don't have to be around people who hurt you. They're just people. There is nothing more special about them than any stranger you cross in the street.

Would you force yourself to see someone you don't like? Well, it's the same thing with your family. I know it's much easier said than done. Trust me, I struggle with it as well.

  • Even author JK Rowling, who is known for her anti-trans sentiments, involved herself in the controversy.

I mean, you say that as if it's a surprise, as if she's not absolutely mentally deranged by the very thought of our existence. It's all she does nowadays. Every time a trans person is mentioned anywhere in the UK, she's there tweeting about it. Of course she got involved!

  • The victim is a black woman. Which is not surprising. Transphobic and misogynistic standards have a big racist bend to them and black women, especially athletes, have long been targeted with these kinds of things. In competitive sports, it's been an issue for a very long time, black women get a lot of transphobic and misogynistic shit thrown at them because these standards are built on whiteness first and foremost.
