You ask questions to avoid answering. You’ve never said your household income was not middle class. Is your household income middle class?

There won’t be a smaller decentralized internet. The internet isn’t the problem, it’s the services people choose to use and who owns them. There is just as much misinformation on Lemmy as any other network.

I have a friend who is actually from China (and now in the states), and they talk so much shit about China, it’s crazy. The mind control is deep.

3. 1990 – The waiting period was extended from 5 years to 7 years.
4. • Signed by President George H. W. Bush (Republican).
5. 1998 – The 7-year rule was removed entirely for federal loans, meaning they could only be discharged under “undue hardship” no matter how old the loan was.
6. • Signed by President Bill Clinton (Democrat).
7. 2005 – Private student loans were also made non-dischargeable in most cases (same “undue hardship” rule).
8. • Part of the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act, signed by President George W. Bush (Republican).

Getting enough people to agree on anything, especially if it requires moving, and double especially if it will cause any amount of anxiety… is basically impossible.
