The Daily Beast is part of the propaganda cabal. Russia isn't our enemy, we have more in common than not. Regardless, these aren't facts you're presenting but opinion. Now I'd like to see a page on the facts on Mr. Ritter's charges. Regardless of the convictions (they are minor) doesn't discredit the message he's outputting.

Yup. I don't know if I agree re public content, but perhaps private messages should be encrypted, client side, before sending? That issue is one that bothers me about Mastodon.

No. He wouldn’t be happy with ActivityPub as well. He imagines a social network where no one can perform any moderation. He favours Nostr for exactly that reason. Bluesky has got moderation (just like the Fediverse) - which he dislikes.

As for the photos reappearing after a factory reset of the device, there is no confirmed case by Apple about this ever happening, so I wouldn’t take this claim seriously.
