An election promise, that's 5 years away, if they deliver it. At which point they might not even get back in. This is called a pipedream promise, to get elected.

How amazing is the fediverse. There's no going back. Actual, open protocols, that encourage collaboration and sharing without a corporate overlord. I'm so excited and feeling positive for the internet. It's been a long time since I've said that.

My son was born. I held him in my arms for the first time. As that happened, outside the window a massive fireworks display kicked off, along a nearby city river. It was that kind of moment. My boy in my arms. Fireworks, silent, but massive and beautiful, just for me. For us.

I agree. These are now small motorcycles. I like it. If only they'd ditch the bike facade, and make them look cool. Style em up.

It's fun to watch Ebike's move full circle, back to the little Europe peddle assist bikes of the 50s. Basically the electric versions.

Full gearbox, this is a little motorbike. And why not? Small motorcycles rock.

My kingdom for a good sailing game. I used to love Pirates! when I was young, for the sailing dynamics.

I played some great 2d top down web sailing sims years ago also, which set me up to actually sail.
