  • Absolutely rolling a rogue. Playing a necro currently, and it's fine, but I don't love the build choices. I'm prob gonna go rogue, maybe a barb, they both look crazy fun.

I would love to roll a sorcerer but they need some major rework before I'm willing to jump in there.

  • Isn't a semi-significant amount of the per instance load in the database interactions though? I don't know if that's still true after some of the optimizations in 0.18, but by having your own instance, even 1 person instance, you no longer load the database of another instance with calculating hot/active/whatever for things you want to see, and you don't load it when you do pulls.

  • Are you in the US? It tends to be different there than elsewhere. In the UK here, it's much more accepted to buy flats and live in them long term. In the US, it's looked down on because people hate sharing walls, hate the monthly maintenance fee you have to pay the building, and hate the resale value and challenge with resale in general.

Apartments can be an okay purchase but tend not to be an investment like houses have traditionally been.

  • Wt2 is less optimized time wise, but way more fun for me as a diablo veteran.

You might be under leveled, but in wt2 I was 41 when I got to act 6, then just did a shit load of side quests to get 45, finished act 6 at 47, and now I'm doing side quests and whisper bounties till 50 to do the capstone. I think you're going to be slightly under leveled no matter what if you just do the campaign only.

Do the campaign and side quests, find gear along the way, then you can start real optimizing at 45+ imo.

  • I've been surprisingly happy with the diablo 4 campaign. The amount of food voice acting, grittiness, solid side quests, it's been nice. Though I am missing that bit of d2 and d3 where you can just plow through hordes of enemies
