  • At least most of these guys look like they know this is bs, casually strolling around.

The admin will handpick those pricks of their group for special units to do the heavy work in the future, crushing protests, raiding their undesirables, the rest will be holding streets and such on leisure duty.

Meaning you cannot count on soldiers refusing bad orders, their handpicked goon squads made into special units will be groomed to do those illegal attacks.

Just as they did in 2020 in portland, they handpicked partisan assholes from federal security services, mostly bureau of prisons, to snatch people off streets in unmarked vehicles without id of their agency and hiding their faces just like ice now.

They want to disappear citizens with no charges or habeous corpus, and with scotus forbidding nationwide injunctions there is nothing to stop them.

That decision was an incredible betrayal of our rights and freedoms and checks and balances which will become clear in time.

  • There was a study in British Columbia around 2017 or so where they gave brain damaged rats some super potent form of THC in massive quantities and those rats reprogrammed and rewired their brain damaged brains while the control group did not.

  • Last summer through fall I restarted drinking after nearly a decade of very light occassional drinking, about 12 or more ipa's a day, two hearted ipa and a local one.

Roomate was cool but drank a liter of scotch a day, happy drunk though, both of us. Worst he did was exitedly tell or play things for you he had previously, especially of his glory days.

  • I previously quit for a decade almost completely, drinking like you a couple here and there, by restarting running distance, also using kratom to help get started until the endorphins take over.

Physical exertion and alcohol do not go well together, I wanted to go running not drink.

I restarted drinking homebrew by choice just last year. Working on maple wines and other herb infused drinks, with syrup I make, until I start malting barley and growing hops to make ipa. But I do not get falling down drunk and am happy regardless but I choose to get buzzed lately if at home, I may mostly transition to traditional herbals soon though.

  • Is this a known medical condition, alcohol intolerance?

I know enzymes in the body break down and remove it, and certain people genetically have more or less depending.

Cultures that have been drinking for thousands of years have more of the enzymes, those that just started have way less like the natives in america and I think australia but idk on that. Basically the entire old world has more of the alcohol metabolizing enzymes from eurasia to africa. Not sure of inuits and far northern tribes but if they milked animals in prehistory they probably fermented milk for kefir.

Also women metabolize alcohol less than men due to these enzymes.

So the same amount of alcohol can have wildly more or less pronounced inebriation even before taking tolerance into account.

  • A lot of of the labels on eggs are meaningless as to the welfare of the animals. Cage free eggs are often raised in giant warehouse concentration camps for instance.

Most of these terms are not regulated, I believe the only term that means anything is like pasture raised if I recall, and even that there is a lot of differences as to the welfare of the animals.

  • Oh I know it, I was referring to the populace being leftist I should have been more clear, all of our cities have right wing fascist police forces it seems. The politicians are subordinate to them not the other way around. They could take down any of our politicians and they know it.

In 2020 and several years before the police were sharing intelligence with the counter protesters, warning them about police actions, telling them where the protesters were going, a resting the protesters and letting those right-wing counter protesters go. But not just there, Berkeley California had something similar, propublica did some reporting about it back at that time.

  • That thing in Georgia was like the test case. And our great Democratic leader had nothing to say about it let alone to do about it. What a joke, our leaders already think the Republic is dead. The Bill of Rights does not apply.

All for a local protest too, like wtf? It is because the big cities have a leftist streak and the state is run by far right fascists, and they want to subordinate the free spirit of the Cities, not the least because they lost the vote in 2020.

They better hope they are not right because they will be shunted aside and often prosecuted themselves as their underlings stab them in the back and take their positions. Plus the paranoia, like stalin.

  • Antifa may make the terror list. Environmental groups. Animal rights groups, they are already being classed as domestic terrorists if not officially. Obviously any group opposed to Israel's bullshit.

Protest will basically be illegal if it is disfavored. Something that UK already did. Also in Europe as well they have been moving to illegalize global warming and soon other protests. This is a West wide turn towards illiberalism and despotism.

  • That could be a tough sell for them now, to call everybody transgender mentally ill as a matter of course. The next logical step would be declaring all gay people mentally ill, then anyone with a fetish that is not very widespread, and so on.

The gun rights people have been tooled to support Republicans with slippery slope arguments. I do not think they would support this at this moment in time. The administration is testing the waters.

  • The rich abuse our legal systems and it is getting worse.

The president had been involved in more than 10,000 lawsuits just at the time of his first presidency I once heard. Never faced a single real consequence for it.

Partly that is because the state of New York is rotten to the core don't let the D next to their names fool you. They have always been a lousy corrupt state that thinks they are better than everybody else.

There has to be a way to hit these slaap suitors back with lawsuits to make them pay for doing it.

We can learn something from the Antichrist Peter Thiel that took down that news organization what was it called, by sponsoring multiple lawsuits through third parties, taking them down with their publication of Hulk Hogan's Affair or something. Was it Grappler?

Regardless we should do stuff like that, crowdsource funding for lawsuits, maybe via private groups connected to the Fediverse here.

  • That would clearly be unconstitutional. Not that I trust the courts to recognize that fact at this moment in time. I suspect they cite some technicality to prevent it from being stopped completely while calling it unconstitutional.

I do not think the Federal district judges can even stop it now with the ban on Nationwide injunctions, I do not know how that would work in this case.

That was perhaps the worst decision the Supreme Court has ever made arguably. It will become clear in time just how bad of a decision that was.

  • I used to read Reuters every morning, earlier what this year or last year I forget, last year, they cut off only people from the United States. We need subscriptions, everybody else can still read for free as I could gather. I hear the BBC is going to be doing the same. I am stuck with the guardian right now, it is not a proper news service. I suppose I could start doing the AP again.

  • There is this with Epstein and admitting it is Israeli blackmail which it is, she is against geoengineering now, like spraying sulfur dioxide in the upper atmosphere to cool the Earth, she was against the war with Iran, and she called out the genocide against Palestine. By the scorecard she's doing a lot better than a lot of these Democrats.

She gets no credit for it saying she did not notice the bill she signed gave AI 10 years free from State interference, it is her job to know and she has teams to know that, and she voted for it again after the Senate got through with it.

Still though credit where it is due.
