Thanks! Founded it! I checked peertube.io and users have unlimited quota indeed, but just 5MB quota a day what is not enough to make a small video so I'm gonna search a bit to see if I find an instance with at least 50MB per video Thanks

All running locally on a 2008 lenovo core 2 duo with 2gb, 1 120gb SSD, 1 1tb HDD and 1 250gb HDD...couldn't open the services to the web since my ISP blocks every port (except 52180 udp) even if I open them in the router sothey can change the double on a fixed IP withppen ports in their "enterprise" package

I use a monetary argument.. If my data can become revenue to the company then I must have a part of this revenue ..if they are not paying me for my property (my data) then I should keep my data from them

I thought the instance name was just a name and had no meaning in that way (being international or smth) About posting about other countries ..yeah O agree that is US centric but Lemmy is a niche..way smaller than reddit is (at least in my country) so is already hard to find people from other places and specially writing about things not US related. I don't mind if this community is all about US ..when people from other places start creating their own politics communities I'll just join them.

Pihole won't keep you from watching ads,for what I know its because google uses the same servers to serve the content and the ads.Pihole is great to browse the web though.. I have it at home. For me what gets the job done is newpipe for my android phone and Smartube on my Android TV.

It worked! Thanks mate! I just removed the IP address and changed to hostnames and everything worked beautifully!

Yeah..seems like the depends_on works with multiple services in one single compose file..and putting 10 services in tha same compose file is messy

Maybe I'm the one missing something. Are you saying I just have to use the LAN IP adress in the dns line in the compose file? I used the docker IP adress because I had some issues with containers not communicating with each other because every time I create a new container docker creates a new network for it. I'm gonna give it a try once I get home. Thanks!
