But Ukrainian bombing of the Donbass absolutely was a factor as well. For 8 years Russia tried the diplomatic route to get them to stop, but despite signing agreements, Ukraine just ignored them and kept bombing anyway.

Deadpool 3 is coming out next year, it will be part of the MCU and will include Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

After that it's Fantastic Four in 2025 (potentially starring CIA Jim!), then probably more X-Men. They already had CIA Jim and Patrick Stewart as Mr Fantastic and Professor X cameo in a movie last year.
