My argument is that nobody needs 500k to do their job right and there is no justification for paying a manager five to ten times as much as an engineer, especially not on donation money.
I‘d rather give to a smaller project where the money actually ends up with the people who do most of the work.
So in other words, you pay more and unless you're on the highest tier, they take away the one thing that made Game Pass worth the money: new games available on day one.
I'm not a fan of subscription models overall but getting a ton of new releases for about what two full price titles per year would cost was a great deal. Not anymore.
And there goes another reason to keep a Windows machine around.

And even if he didn't go rogue, there is always bus factor to consider. How many people can get hit by a bus before your company breaks down? For a scary amount of companies, the number is exactly one because there is always that one expert who knows stuff that nobody else does.

Well, of course. They never objected to Taiwan's existence, just to the fact that it doesn't belong to them. Slightly different situation than all that Gulf of America nonsense.
I'd rather have them kill shows immediately than right before the final season. See Westworld, Expanse and (almost) Snowpiercer. I'm currently really anxious about Yellowjackets.
