  • The best I can say is to try installing these as dependencies, because I'm starting to get lost in the ubuntu based distros different package sources

    sudo apt install kf6-kcoreaddons-dev kf6-kcolorscheme-dev kf6-kguiaddons-dev kf6-kiconthemes-dev kf6-kconfig-dev kf6-ki18n-dev kf6-kwindowsystem-dev kf6-kirigami-dev kf6-kcmutils-dev

  • You should try installing these dependencies:

cmake extra-cmake-modules kdecoration qt5-declarative qt5-x11extras kcoreaddons kcmutils kcolorscheme kconfig kguiaddons kiconthemes kwindowsystem

I'm not familiar with gentoo's packaging system, so I can't tell you what command should you use, but if you find a way to install it properly, you can help the project by writing a segment to the readme about the installing of dependencies in gentoo

  • There is always a third really obscure way to do things

  • Buying a chromebook is like buying nearly expired milk because it's cheaper as a lactose intolerant

  • Team spirit

  • MacOS is a great os, and it comes with solid hardware. If you use your laptop for anything except gaming, and you can pay premium, a mac is a really good choise. Also, it's a lot easier to develop apps for iphones from macs, and that's a thing that a lot of people do.

  • I support this idea, and based on the things I read here, it seems to me that different cultures have different norms for asking a question, and that's a good thing, but can create not so pleasant social situations here in the internet

  • I have no problem with questions on forums, sometimes I ask them myself, but I think that if you expect people to try to answer your question, people should be able to expect you to have tried looking for an answer yourself.

  • This type of answer wouldn't exist if people typed the question into google instead of reddit/lemmy/forums/etc...
