  • It is. But this one will just go on forever. Not entirely sure what the point of having a station and a playlist is 🤷‍♂️

  • Well said! I think I agree with pretty much all of that

  • Islam is just one religion. It’s not all religions and not all religious people are like that. Not even all followers of Islam are like that. Dislike a person for what they have done. Don’t dislike a person for what they believe. I’m not suggesting that no one has done anything bad for a religion at all. I’m saying hating a person simply because they identify as a part of a religion is extremely shortsighted and makes this world worse

  • Ah, I see. Well to explain what I mean, I was saying that the message he was converting could be misinterpreted and imo it should be stated more prominently what he actually means so that he doesn’t sound like one of these people. For the record, I am specifically referring to the last part of his message

  • Are you suggesting that there is not one single person who hates religious people? All I’m saying is that people should accept other people and leave them to believe what they want to believe. I don’t think any reasonable person would disagree with that freedom

  • You’re absolutely right. That is a very important distinction to make. One which I think should be more actively emphasised. There are absolutely people who hate people for being religious. Definitely want to clarify to make it clearer what is meant

  • Obviously I can understand not liking it when people single out one group and ignore another. But am I correct in understanding that you’re saying you like people more for “hating” groups of people who are different to you? Don’t get me wrong, there are without question aspects of certain religions which are harmful. But saying that hating every religious person is a good thing is way over the top. Everyone deserves to be respected and treated well, not hated because of their beliefs.

  • That’s not exactly what I mean. They’re specifically referring to parental controls in iOS 16. On iOS 17, for me, the entire menu is broken

  • I can definitely see where you’re coming from and agree to a point. But I have to say, I definitely do like these icons as well

  • I’ve been using it in safari for ages already by just changing my user agent, a feature built into safari (and chrome, but it’s far more difficult to get to. Best just get an extension). For anyone wondering, if you go into Safari settings and enable developer tools, you can just click on the developer menu in Safari and choose edge as your user agent for that session.

  • That’s ”open dyslexic”. As far as I’m aware, it’s a don’t specifically designed to be easily readable by dyslexic people

  • There already is an iPad version! It’s in the App Store release! It’s also there in the GitHub version

  • In safari, I can’t recommend the fizzy water bundle enough (extension) or at least baking soda (which comes in the bundle). The extensions are super cheap and are well worth it imo but one of the features of baking soda is to stop videos from auto playing

  • And you’re absolutely correct. Being light is a feature. It’s a feature of the non-pro. The fact is, putting more, better components in will make the phone heavier. And the point of the pro is to have more features and be the better phone. Unlike a racing bicycle which very specifically has to be light. And also unlike the MacBook Air which again, the entire purpose of which was to be thin and light. I completely agree that being light is a feature, just not here.

  • I think Mlem is on track to be better than Apollo was at this rate. You gotta remember, Apollo had been released and in continued development for years. Mlem is around 2 months old

  • They do, but it’s like 4 bucks and is well worth it imo

  • Recommendation: add Vinegar for all the Apple (iOS, macOS, iPadOS) users. It’s suuuuper good
