Are they hoping for a distraction from everyone's healthcare costs doubling to quadrupling when the subsidies expire? Like if they just give us bread and circus we won't notice how hard we're being anally raped?

Time to add Toyota to the list of companies I am now boycotting. Fuck it's getting to the point where I will need to live in the wilderness and make all my own shit from scratch, and ride a horse and buggy.

I had a knee jerk reaction to the headline, and I want to clarify for the TL;DR people. They are talking about stopping manufacturing lower and mid-range graphics cards. They aren't going to roll out an update that would brick cards that have already been sold to customers; (that was my knee jerk assumption, because manufacturers have done shit like that before and I assume the worst.)

Their, as in the disdain microsoft has for the user, not there, as in microsoft put the disdain in a box and it's sitting across the room over there. However, your point is valid and stands.

Because they make so much more $ from selling your data. Microsoft would rather push these AI programs in an update, and bank on their users not noticing. The majority of users operate in a walled garden, they aren't editing registry files or manually running commands, so they are less likely to notice the changes. It's the power users that notice this shit, and sound the alarm.

From reviews I'm seeing that lots of content is AI/AI made and it's full of microtransactions. 100% a gatcha game.
