Warner Bros. Discovery just canned another nearly finished film

  • What's the status of the opposition in SK? Will they be able to make hay out of all this?

  • Research or not it is Coast Guard, which is...well, military-adjacent, at least.

  • Military procurement is ridiculously expensive, but...we need these damn ships.

  • The CPC started going a little too far right, and they got voted out.

I wish I agreed that this was an accurate description of the election - the PCs were projected to lose before they took the hard right turn, and then their final turnout was arguably higher than projected.

  • There are sometimes more books available at the lowest prices through Amazon Kindle and Kobo.

It's definitely worth checking the ebook retailer of your choice - AFAIK, they all tend to run this montly sale.

  • I'm just saying it may not have had anything to do with the late-campaign pivot, which is the topic of this article.

  • I wouldn't get too excited - the Manitoba PCs did better in the election than some polls predicted, so there's not much of an indication that the pivot to the right cost them anything.

  • I can see the argument that it's splitting hairs, but he's promoting the book, not his acting work or Star Trek as a franchise.

  • The Prodigy erasure continues to be a thing but I don’t think that’s ending anytime soon.

There were Prodigy characters in last week's short...

  • I'm more likely than not going to be in the same boat starship as you!

  • Yeah, I always thought I might get one as a parting gift to myself when the game eventually gets shut down.

We have until the end of the month, though...

  • Are you saying Guinan was crew aboard the Enterprise D?

    Absolutely.

Icheb was never a security officer.

    Who?

  • Boimler does say he’s trying to remember ”every single crew member’s name,” but one of the people in his quiz is Honus the bartender.

    Civilian crew are still crew!

Shaxs’ puzzle depicts captain Malcolm Reed and the NX-01 Enterprise.

Huh...I could've sworn it was a picture of a blank bulkhead.

  • The word "easily" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

  • I think they would likely have significant storage and bandwidth needs - more significant than the examples provided.
