Sometimes the tile will update on the server but your browser will still show the old one. You can press Ctrl+Shift+R to do a more thorough reload of the webpage.
The tiles are usually pretty quick to update at high zoom levels (like when you're zoomed all the way in) but they are slower to update the more zoomed out you are.
Knowing which map you are looking at will be helpful. It's a little confusing but OSM technically is just data and then maps are built from that data.
Street Complete makes a map, which is different from OsmAnd, which is different from Organic Maps, but they all use the same data.
I'm guessing you were just looking at the main openstreetmap.org website and used the built-in editor. The Standard layer is called OpenStreetMap Carto and the editor is called iD.
Whenever you submit edits from the editor, the Standard layer on the OSM website will automatically update. This usually only takes a couple minutes, but you will need to refresh the page to see the changes. OsmAnd and Organic Maps usually provide updates every month that need to be downloaded to see.

Singh said both the Liberals and Conservatives are proposing cuts to federal spending [...]
Either the question was asked poorly or he didn't understand because he clearly was not answering the question that was asked.
This seems to fit my learning style. I love knowing the building blocks of words and the association to words I already know. It helps with not having to just simply memorise another dictionary.
And I like the more passive intake of information. I think it's lowered the bar enough for me to take the leap and actually start learning.
I've been here for awhile and have a pretty good understanding of how federation works. Number (3) was a very concise way to explain how the All feed works. I sort of knew but that really helped me understand.
Number (7), I will suggest the use of the cross-posting feature. Post to the larger community for engagement but also cross-post to the smaller communities to help them grow. Quiet communities are a cat-and-mouse game where people don't post or comment because no one else is. The more people start to engage, the more others will start to engage.
If there's anyone who has any valuable input about multiple accounts, it's this guy.
