Did someone actually quit smoking after using a vape?
  • Vaping blew up around 2010 and gradually increased in popularity until all of the Juul controversies happened. Since all of the laws passed to restrict it more, it is now easier to get a non-reusable piece of ewaste than reusable and refillable stuff.

  • The Two Genders
  • Same, about 2-3 times over the years. Had to start over each time because I forgot everything. Just looking at the map gave me anxiety because it was just so much. I'm an OCD completionist, so I have to do everything, visit every place, collect everything. That game was just overwhelming. Everything else about it was great though.

  • "They already have your data"
  • If people knew what the MS G. H. O. S. T. team has on them, everyone would be horrified. If you use a Windows PC, they have everything you do on it. Worse if you use Edge. I'm pretty sure we could scare the shit out of anyone if you could show them this data. Think about it, if you asked anyone you knew if you could look at their entire browsing history, they probably wouldn't let you. Then ask them if you could look at their entire browsing history that they thought has been deleted going back like a decade. That's the type of data this team has. You can't even find a whole lot about what the team does, but it's pretty insane.

  • Three-quarters of U.S. adults are now overweight or obese
  • Co-worker of mine visited Ethiopia for like 2-3 weeks. He said he actually ate more than he usually does while there and still lost 15lbs. Our food is a huge problem in the US. It's better for business to keep us unhealthy.

  • Ramaswamy wants to defund unauthorized government programs - like veteran healthcare
  • Agreed. They must have gotten better in the last decade too, because I don't see the horrible things that people have said about the VA. Yes there are long wait times for appointments, but that's happening in private care now as well.

  • Manage locally stored music files on Windows PC and/or Android device.
  • I just wrote a PowerShell script to do this for my pictures comparing file names and sizes. Should be able to find something similar with a search. Might not work for what you're looking for unless they were exact copies though.

  • What seemingly random thing do you vehemently hate?
  • When people block aisles at the grocery store and you say "excuse me", but they act like they don't hear you and don't move. It's literally just you and them in the aisle, they don't need to have their cart in the middle of the aisle while they stand next to it. There's enough room for 2 people and their carts to fit in an aisle.

  • The gender wars continue 🥹
  • I blame social media and algorithms. My teen son for the longest time was leaning further and further right due to the content he was getting served on YouTube. He was making disparaging comments about women and how stupid they are. My wife and I who lean left had to sit down and have a talk with him about what he was saying and videos that he was getting served by YouTube (that popular red pill girl, I can't remember her name and andrew tate among other red pill stuff). He's a pretty smart kid, once we showed him data and articles that directly proved all the things he was watching wrong, he started to come around. He's been careful to believe things that he sees or hears on the internet more now. Occasionally, he'll bring things to us that we have to double take and fact check to see if it's wrong.

Got my early Christmas present. I hope I like it.

Just finished installing it this evening. Going to update the firmware, run thermal model, and PID tune tomorrow. Also installed the silicone bed mod and need to level everything out. Got a busy day tomorrow, wish me luck.

    Anyone have an airbrush kit?

I'm looking at getting an airbrush kit for my prints and for my wife's crafts. Can anyone recommend a good kit since I know nothing about it? All feedback appreciated.

    Almost ready for Halloween

Had this thing printed months ago, but I procrastinated and finally got it put together. Just needs paint now.
