  • Well if a kid in a garage can make a partial nuclear reactor... Maybe make an EMP?

Edit: not a true reactor, but he was able to make some parts for it and supposedly got worried about the the amount radioactive material he had and began dismantling it but got caught with radioactive material.

  • I had something similar and it was about $500, thing was a piece of junk. Could barely cut a stick with a diameter of around 3 inches despite being rated for 6 inches (no it wasn't from a hardwood tree)

I ended up selling it for $250 and felt bad for the person buying it thinking that it will clean there yard up from the severe weather we had a year ago.

  • They have a recieve range of 134-176 I think and 420-480, as long as it's standard analog you should be able program in some fun things to listen to.

I have one setup for railroad frequencies and I hear some unique conversations.

  • Damnit, I stopped distro hopping 2 years ago and settled on fedora. Here I go again

  • In my family we literally have a refrigerator that has been passed down 2 generations. First it was my grandmothers, then it was my dad's and now it's mine.

The thing is a tank, clean it out and do preventative maintenance every so often and it should live longer then me.

  • Antenna woes

  • Some antenna's you can trim if they are reading a high SWR. Another thing thing I do with my mobile antenna is I check for any rust after the winter months because the salt can really wear your antenna out

  • I had a person park in front of my driveway, throw on hazards and disappear for an hour and their battery ended up dying. She ended up walking up to the door and asking for a jump. I declined help and somewhat politely informed her not to park in front of driveways.

Few month later it turns out my neighbor was cheating with this woman.

  • Ba dum tsss

  • Yeah I estimated around 90ft however I lost around 9 and a half feet to turns and bends and was left with a few inches to spare. There's a little bit of slack but it's hard to tell.

  • I used to be that way too, decided I was going to splurge on 2 fixed yagi's and 1 yagi on a rotor and they are all 30 feet above my roof and I pick up around 60 some channels.

  • Not a tv show, I wasn't necessarily a kid but I remember stumbling on LiveLeak...

For those who want to know what it was.

It was a video of a guy getting dragged behind a car down the highway.

  • I use antenna tv, and whenever there's a ad I use that as a time to grab a bite to eat or to use the restroom.

  • I have known a few homeless people, and it's mostly socks, good footwear that can take a daily beating for years on end. And someone to give them a chance to work and improve their situation.

Never donate anything made of cotton in the winter. It kills people.

  • I find it fun listening to shortwave stations that aren't a bunch of crazies. The other night I was listening to a recording of an old radio show from the late 30's.

  • Have you tried to reinstall windows? Or at least run a repair? Sometimes this can be a OS problem.

You can also use a wattage meter where you plug the computer in and measure it through the meter. You could see if there is a abnormally high power draw and begin to narrow things down.

Unplug everything that isn't necessary to see if it's a accessory issue.

One last thing you can do is grab a pen and paper, and setup a software CPU temp monitor and write down everything that happens when it goes black. Especially sounds the computer makes.

Also try and replicate it with another monitor.

  • We have a small herd of deer that comes through our yard and we leave corn out in the winter and in the summer fill up a boulder that was carved out like a bowl over many years of sitting in a creek.

We have names for a few of them

    • round ear (she has round ears, and is very old)
    • chicky mama (she has at least 1 fawn every year)
    • limpy ( she got hit by a car and now has a limp
    • ticks ( this is the unlucky one that gets all the ticks)

    That's the 4 of them

  • Ok, you sound very nervous by how your typing. Go take a few deep breaths and take a quick walk around the block or something so relax so you have a clear head to process this.

Once your done (I am going to assume you have android) download rethink DNS and look through the logs to see if there are any apps making suspicious requests and Google them to see what they are.

From there you can tell what's compromised and maybe how you got compromised so we can help

  • Can I ask you how you know they have access to your clipboard and downloads? And what the other user said, a factory reset should be enough.

Can I ask how you ended up compromising your phone?
