No your're going to pay the bill because, they told Engie to stop investing into Thiange and Doel. They forced them to shut down. And now were fucked.

Never heard of deepL. I just found reverso after duolingo started feeling like a chore. I tried looking for a new app to learn languages and reverso really pulled through, it actually just gives me common phrases i'm interested in. I'm finding it easier to learn the things i'm looking for.

Edit: after looking into it i might have to give deepL a shot aswell.

I'm just here to plug https://www.reverso.net It's a really great language learning app powered by (just trust me bro) A.I. It's an amazing app really and it sold me on what A.I. can do.

Stop telling people to use adblockers ffs... Obviously most ppl on lemmy are smart enough to know about addblockers but the only way we get to keep using them is if enough "normies" watch adds. Stop educating people about addblockers for the love of god.

English evolved as an amalgamation of Germanic and Roman languages which made it easier for western europeans to learn.

I'm pretty sure the popularity of American movies had a huge part in it aswell because that's how myself and most of the people i know learned english.
