Brb booking a one way flight to Australia. They’re in Canada and they’re vile little things. I’ll put up with spiders and snakes if it means no bed bugs.
Basically, yeah. Features don’t come out often but you still get security updates on the regular which is what’s important. Things don’t change which means things don’t typically break.
Hopefully this nonsense doesn’t affect the LTSC version. Using that has been a breath of fresh air - still Windows, less crap. Not even the store is installed by default.
I still can’t kill defiled Amygdala years later. Fuck up ONCE, lose to RNG ONCE, and you’re done. That jump move still gets me every time. I’ve tried not moving, I’ve tried going to where it jumps, I’ve tried running away, everything that people say works for them kills me. That boss is a bitch.
How? Debloat. Remove the AI bullshit. Remove the sponsored crap, remove Pocket, hell make the Firefox Sync stuff something you need to install separately as an add-on. Give us a no nonsense, just works, lean and mean web browser.
Problem is that that doesn’t make any money. So they won’t.
Now that I upgraded to an iPhone with USB-C, I enjoy the convenience of having one cable for everything. Charging, connecting a display temporarily, data transfer, one cable. Never had a Mac so I didn’t get in on the Lightning to Lightning shenanigans, but I do prefer Lightning over USB-C. At least a Lightning port is easy to clean.
Go ahead. I switched to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC which has none of that nonsense. Not even the store unless you install it. And it’s supported until 2032. Hopefully by then either MS will get their shit together or Linux will be a viable alternative for regular use (too many buts currently - it does XYZ but, it runs this program but, basic hardware works but).
