  • I've been out of a job and going to school through the VA for 4 years. I love it. I do projects to improve my home,I visit family without limits, and go to different states on a whim just to see them. If I want to go to see or do anything in the middle of the day I just leave. Working until your too old to do anything isn't sounding great.

  • I appreciate the effort but I was leaning towards technologies and methods.

  • Thank you. This was very informational.

  • I am still in the beginning of using Mastodon. How does it detect Nazi like speech and what does it consider Nazi like speech?

  • I've been using revanced and I love it.

  • My duck: sleek and fine in flight.

Yo duck: can't even swim right.

  • I was just stating what happened in my family and due to that my perception on the vaccine is changed compared to before we had them. Unfortunately we may not know for quite some time or at all. NIH will probably never release statistics to gather data on since the vaccine was pushed by every government in the world.

  • I think the COVID treatments probably create more problems health wise than the disease. At least for younger healthier individuals. After getting the first two immunizations my wife developed pots which she didn't have before.

Edit: It's interesting that people are down voting me for my personal experience with the vaccine. I don't fault them because we are all different and experienced the vaccine differently but since there was little to no clinical testing and the people who received the vaccine were the test subjects I don't understand why people would be so defensive about it. I also understand if people don't believe me and that's ok too.

  • I don't think people realize that a recession is always a 2008 scenario. There was a recession in the early 1980s that didn't hit hard and only lasted around 6 months.

Due to high interest rates, oil fears, and the housing market that scenario is more likely to reoccure than 2008.

  • There was no desert island scenario. There was a comparison to eating and being eaten, which is natural in both senses. As omnivores we developed to eat both meats and plants just like all other omnivores on the planet. To deny one part of our natural diet is unhealthy. You seem to have some kind of agenda which I will not be a part of.

You are entitled to your opinions and I will respect that but I will no longer communicate with you on the subject. Have a good week.

  • You are assuming now. I never said anything about factory farming, just that eating meat was natural. I agree the methods are detestable.

  • I can completely agree the means to get to the end is indeed very cruel. We are all animals and I would not like to be treated so inhumanely just to die. However, eating meat is as natural as breathing.

I agree that I would rather my body go back into the circle than decay in the ground.

  • Circle of life. If I were in the wild and defenseless and animal wouldn't hesitate to kill me, as it should be. It's not wrong, it's nature. Morality isn't the same from person to person.

  • If that happens, then I think humanity had its shot. Let another species try.

  • I appreciate your passion and the energy you put into this. We will soon feel the great equalizer that nature has for us and it was honestly inevitable. Once the human population goes down to a reasonable number the planet will have a chance to heal and it can start all over again. It will be the greatest tragedy of our time. Currently out consumption and the population are unsustainable. Even if we were to fully correct or pollution today we wouldn't see the effect for a hundred years or more.
