  • But how come?Supporting people is rather easy actually. Being compassionate, caring and listening the other person and being supportive is generally rather easy and oftentimes just words are enough to encourage or console them. That stuff is so easy it can be even faked on autopilot without any effort.

But at the other hand, taking advantage of others/exploiting them just feels bad and even if it's possible to get used to it. It's kinda exhausting to constantly look over ones shoulder for the inevitable repercussions from the person being exploited and to avoid being exploited by anyone else?

Even if taken from the perspective of trying to exploit people. Helping them become better is a more profitable long term investment.

  • Say gex

  • Oddly homophobes are the loudest group when it comes to anything related to gays. They're the main reason i know who in my social group is gay, they're the main reason i know we had gay parades precovid. They're the only reason i know we have at least one gay club in our city.

  • Moat effective seems to be weaning off, using the replacement products and slowly reducing nicotine dosages.

Though people are different, have to use lots of trial and error and try again and again. I used the least likely method of price increase to quit cold turkey.

  • Too late, already had after gym shower.

  • I don't have that much free time to play as an adult anymore and steam is only tracking game time from adulthood.

Mostly a mix of ARGPs and industry games, because the mechanic is engaging, simple and repetitive. I generally avoid story based games as by the time i can play again, I've forgotten what the details of the story we're about. I need the "in last episode" for story based games.

    Top3.

POE 891h. It's a really good ARPG game. Satisfactory 538h, industry part. WH 40k Inquisitor(combined) 532h, Warhammer themed ARPG.

  • Oh, hell no, fuck vibe based shit and fuck surprises.

Im not coming. I'm bigger and stronger, though i could be even bigger and even stronger. You don't have any leverage to force me to come.

"Thank you for the offer, but no"

This one of those things i will not be quiet about, i will outright just refuse. Calmly and reasonably at first, but if it's not accepted. Will flip that person off.

  • Way too soon to notice specific people. I suck at focusing on/distinguishing people. They all melt together into one homogeneous background mass, in online world and in real life.

It takes repeated exposure in the same environment under same conditions for me to start noticing them and even then there's no guarantee that outside said training environment i notice them.

  • Good point, yeah that i do regularly, though not with the explicit purpose of walking to listen to music. Generally just walking to somewhere and combining that with listening music.

  • I wouldn't say weird. You can enjoy your music however you want.

Personally i wouldn't be able to do it, having ADHD and sitting still doesn't really go together.

  • Currently Orebound. Another factory building game, but with a dwarven theme. Kinda interesting twist, ground is fully minable and gold can be actually stored in a pile of gold coins.

D4 new patch is lined up for next.

  • psa

  • They will track the void through people close to the void.

Gotta have fake personality for trackers, hiding in the masses.

  • Understandable, thank you for explaining.

  • Thank you for sharing.

Yeah pretty much, as a kid special days were special due to some outside force(probably parents) or inherently special. As an adult, that aspect seems to have completely disappeared. So I've always struggled to find a reason why those should be special as there isn't any force actually compelling me to celebrate those and often times there isn't any energy left over for unnecessary activities either.

  • People are different, the only thing it affected was heart rate and sweaty palms which were directly linked to dosing, for fun i did try 2-3x over max dosages as well.

Biggest effect it had was on my wallet as the max dosage was 100€+ and absolutely no government aid. That was pretty much the last straw in looking for help with my ADHD. For that amount + therapy 80€ per session. I can handle ADHD, at least that's cheaper. That was years ago, prices have rose significantly since then.

  • Depends which meds, most of those have rather subtle effects, especially ones ment for psychological issue, it's oftentimes even questionable whatever those work or not. Ones ment for physical ailments do have more noticable effects.

Like, long release ADHD med(concerta) was rather useless against ADHD, but max dosage did rise heart rate and gave me sweati palms.

Fluoxetine for depression didn't do anything.

    Pain meds are obvious enough.

Testosterone has some mental effect from hormonal fluctuations and long term physical effects are good, within medical dosages.

Cialis has a minor physical effect, but no mental effect.

Rocutane has no mental sides and minimal physical side effects.

  • Or handwriting becoming completely illegible. Forcefully slowing down helps, but then i lose the tought i was trying to write out.

  • Are we just faking it or Is there actually something behind celebration?

Like is there some internal mechanism or something happening internally/inside our bodies and minds when we celebrate something, regardless of the size, or are we all just acting that it's special and that is what makes it special and maybe in turn it then feels special internally?

I haven't managed to figure out how that one works. Like if something happens, birthday, achievement basically anything that people stereotypically celebrate, i just shrug and go on as it isn't inherently special or different than the usual. So I've never understood why do we fake/act like it is?

  • Violence

  • Got it boss, heading out to surround my home with minefield and barbed wire.

  • I hear you, laundry is one of the most annoying daily chores and it never ends. Every time i manage to finally empty the laundry basket. I find multiple piles of clothes throughout the home and the basket is filled once again. I miss a day and i need to do laundry with an intress, 2+ loads during the work week.

But yeah, pretty much not sitting down or at least not slowing down before everything is done. Kinda like taking advantage of inertia, it's easier to keep on going than it is to start again. I know once i sit down for too long(30+ min) and let the tiredness/rut set in, then it's going to be much harder to start going again.

Though kids and rest of the family do provide a rather good motivatior to push through everything and having a decent fitness base does help a lot.

And in the end of the day, if i don't do it then no one will.
