Honestly that was a blessing in disguise actually.
Person had to slow down and actually think through what they we're writing, in comparison to modern voice messages where it's primarily just verbal diarrhea and the reciver has to do all the processing and filtering.
Everyone makes that mistake in one point of their life, just learn from it and move on.
Though you don't have to cut off people, just remember that they might not be that helpful, especially if you struggle to find people who intreset you.
Like the current example, if you need someone to play some games with, that bad friend might be good enough for that occasion, but when you need some help with carrying something, theres bo point to rely on that particular friend.
No, i already have a pc and never really liked consoles. Got too comfortable with a keyboard and mouse setup.
Yeah those do support keyboard and a mouse setup as well, but might as well get a PC at that point already.
And i do like to build and tinker with my hardware, much more easier on PC than with a console.
No most definitely not and I'm not even that good on the social and relationship part.
While mutual entertainment is good for both, friends are supposed to support each other as well, within their capabilities.
Aka you need a couch moved. You call a firend.Your friends mood is down due to some problem, you try to bring it up or help them resolve that issue or at least lessen the impact of it.
Your partner kicks you out, friend will lend you their couch to crash on.
Preliminary results shows that Barbell bench press is going up again and left tricep isn't aching that much anymore. So replacing second bench press session with dumbbell bench press seems to have helped.
Though need to do it for few more weeks to months at least to have more conclusive results.
Kinda irrelevant how much they want it or even how much i do it. My PC doesn't have a camera to begin with.
No, i will not do it in front of my phone either, they don't need any more data points or facial recognition database either. I'm completely fine not using any service that implements it as well.
And still, hows that supposed to change what one likes?Of course i can consciously decide to override likes and preferences, but that still doesn't change those. It will still be conscious decision every time.
And giving the current context of sex. As I've understood, we aren't supposed to force that? Like we don't go up to someone who's gay and say why don't you decide to like women, of course some do, but we're not supposed because those likes aren't supposed to be changeable.
How does that work? Especially given the context. As I've understood attraction and what one likes about the other person aren't really changeable? I'm genuinely curious how can that be changed or decided?
Not at all, i just do my own thing and others come to talk to me. I kinda lack the drive or whatever is forcing people to go and talk/socialize with others.
Surprisingly well actually, despite all the depressive/negative stuff i write here.
Oddly that stuff is mostly contained and whatever i write here is just more of an exploring my own mental pathways/thinking patterns, kinda like self-reflection.
Overall I'm functioning rather fine, health is the best it has ever been and of course that translates into being able to deal with the mental issues much more better than before too.
Work has been stable for years.
Summer might be kinda uncomfortable and bad time of the year, but not like it's the first one. Just gotta suck that one up and wear as little clothes as possible.
Hobbies are fine as well.
Of course everything isn't all that fine and dandy, but most issues are manageable or tolerable, if not fixable.
Like food prices and general goods are slowly getting more expensive without the pay going up, but buying less snacks or "usless" stuff can balance it out.
Fair, that's rather interesting actually.
I do agree that mindfulness training and being aware of ones body and surrounding is and has been rather useful over the years.I just wouldn't really want to do that with basic daily chores and prefer to have a specific dedicated activity for that.
So were actually supposed to give attention to the most basic day to day chores?
Running basic day to day tasks on autopilot doesn't mean that it can't be turned off when those tasks are done.
It's just a good way to maintain basic functionality, which overwhelming majority of life actually does consist of.
Once the basic maintenance is done. Just flip a switch, turn the autopilot off and go enjoy your hobbies or yeah reassess and reflect.
You make it sound like it's bad. Running basic daily chores on autopilot is rather beneficial. Like cleaning, cooking, laundry, basic eating, even sleep and overall daily routine. Depending on work even that can be done on autopilot.
Frees up the mind to wander and think about something else or listen to audiobooks and makes sure that the most basic day to day tasks are done.
People often times complain how annoying it is to wash the dishes or do laundry or clean, running those on autopilot while barely even giving those the attention seems like a perfect solution.
Honestly that was a blessing in disguise actually. Person had to slow down and actually think through what they we're writing, in comparison to modern voice messages where it's primarily just verbal diarrhea and the reciver has to do all the processing and filtering.
