It's darker (thematically and literally) than games I typically play. It reminds me a ton of Avowed but with a clearly smaller budget and better writing. I went full mage build and am level 37 playing on hard. The difficulty curve from zone one to zone two was shocking. I went from one shoting nearly everything to really struggling to stay alive. Its getting more manageable now though after I started specing into summoning on top of combat magic. I've never been a Fromsoft games guy partially because I dont like the idea of it being so hard but also because the world's are all so dreary looking. I've been surprised by how much I enjoy these dreary zones. I know there is a third zone at least and I'm hoping its a bit different.

I wasn't starting a theologic discussion I was disagreeing with a statement. I used a simple response and ended it there. I then clarified why specifically I wouldn't want to have said theologic discussion in this setting. Especially considering the premise of logic-ing your way out of faith is a fundemental misunderstanding of both concepts in my personal completely subjective opinion. Trying to express my more detailed opinions wouldn't change anyone's mind or lead to any sort of new thinking. It would lead to me being heavily downvoted and/or dog piled on in this setting.

This is the exact wrong place to try and have a discussion about religious beliefs. Regardless of what I say it will be downvoted to hell or taken in bad faith. I'm not interested in either. Whatever you believe and why is absolutely fine for you. In no way would anything I say convert you to my way of thinking nor would I necessarily want to. I'd also need a way more detailed explanation of how you logic-ed your way out of all religion to even understand where we disagree. I would have said the same thing if you said you faith-ed your way out of believing in science. That's not really how faith or science work.

I think we have a fundamental disagreement on what faith is and how logic is applied to it. Thats alright. I don't want to argue a moot point.

Then you weren't eating enough ice cream 😉 on average a mile run is 100 to 150 calories burned. Eat one pint of Ben and Jerry's and you're looking at 10ish miles to burn that off if you're not in caloric defecit. Like I said it's technically possible but by disagreeing you're really just being pedantic. If your body's ideal caloric intake should be 2000 calories to maintain your weight, eating 3000 a day (which is easy) means ten miles run a day.

Thats great advice thanks! Im heavily considering getting into it. Like I said I have to climb random shit at work sometimes (power plant) and its always fun/exciting. I've only been to one climbing gym once though and it was for a party type thing. I didn't do well haha.

Without doxing myself, there is a big food related expo/event my girl and I are going to. So that should be a blast. I also started my monthly week off yesterday and don't have that much work to do around the farm. So gonna try to get real deep on "tainted grail". 25ish hours in so far, gonna try and beat it.

I want to get into rock climbing but I feel like I just don't have the build. I'm 6'5 260 lbs with size 16 feet. I climb around stuff at work sometimes and really enjoy that. But the one time I did go to a rock climbing gym my dumb feet were barely able to get purchase on the rocks. I lift weights 2-5 times a week depending on my work schedule but body weight stuff has never really been on the agenda. I still think I'd probably really enjoy it.
