Making large groups of people that all agree with you spontaneously appear at a location is typically not super easy.

And lose your jobs, your homes, and your freedom in the process as you get prosecuted for assaulting federal agents where the authorities have an incentive to make an example out of you to deter future incidents.

I'm not expecting the world to change from holding hands and singing hymns, but insulting people (who already started confronting them instead of just pretending not to see) for not sacrificing more than I'd have to seems rather narrow-minded to me.

Because women are not a homogenous group that all care about the same things, all share the same vision, and are all willing to destroy their lives and the lives of the men and boys they care about for a potential chance that maybe somehow sometime in some unspecified future things can get better.

I think innovation is easier when you're not constantly preoccupied with survival, having to spend every waking moment worrying about starvation or predators or disease or freezing to death probably puts quite a bit hamper on what creative new ideas you are able to come up with and try.

One thing that sometimes happens to me is that I receive a message right as I'm closing an app, meaning that it has just enough time for the notification to disappear but not enough time for me to actually see the message. Then I won't notice until I open the app again, which I usually don't do unprompted.

Difference being that unlike sexual orientation, desire to have children is something that can be affected quite a lot by just situational circumstances. I'm glad to hear that it worked out well for you, but there are plenty of people who have either wanted or not wanted children when young who have ended up changing their minds, to my knowledge there's never been an instance of anyone changing their sexual orientation.

Properly used condoms are incredibly effective at preventing pregnancies and have the additional advantage of reducing the spread or STDs, there's no need to take an irreversible decision quite yet.

One advantage is that they are usually much easier to clean, stains that soak into regular fabric can often just be wiped off from leather, however I do believe it's usually about leather having a more "premium feel".

I think the idea is that if the infrastructure for hydrogen fuel exists and using fossil fuels is penalized, there's an incentive to start producing more of it via electricity by, as an example, using excess power produced by renewable energy sources when demand is low, balancing the grid and leveling out electricity price fluctuations at the same time.

This relies on a lot of technical, economical, and political ifs though. The end goal is desirable but it's not clear if there's a feasible path there, considering the physical properties of hydrogen alone.

Moderation has also pretty much always been part of the internet in some degree, I don't believe that the internet being enshittified has nearly as much to do with the presence of moderation, good or bad, as it does with fundamental problems with the constant monetization inherent in capitalism and the adaption of social media influence and recruitment strategies by the far right.

The spam isn't just for things that are savory. The spam can be for unsavory things, propagandizing, griefing, or advertising outright illegal things.

Biden was not nearly critical enough towards Israel, he did not stop supplying them with weapons, but it seemed like he was at least not happy with what Netanyahu is doing. Trump, on the other hand, is very clear in his explicit approval and practically daring Israel to do more. There is a difference.
